Good Enough?

Nolan Smith
Adam Caplan: “He showed up today, that was good to see.”
Geoff Mosher: “I think Nolan Smith made one of the most important plays of the game, and that’s on the Browns’ last drive when they got into the end zone and they run a designed run with Deshaun Watson to the right side…Smith gets off the block to make the tackle on Watson to stop him on the two or three and they don’t get the touchdown there.”
Brandon Graham
Caplan: “B.G. is amazing. Think about where they would be without him.”
Mosher: “When he stopped the sweep motion on third-and-one, that was a really critical play.”
Run Defense
Caplan: “Tackling still is a problem. The run fits were poor, they were not aligned correctly.”
Mosher: “They play the Ravens and the Steelers this year and if you’re not on your run fits against those teams, you might as well not get off the bus.”
Run Offense
Mosher: “We went into the bye week talking about the struggles of this offense and saying that one thing they need to do is balance out the offense before they get back to throwing the ball.”
Caplan: “Not in this game, you have to adjust in-game by what happens…you’re playing to keep the game close, that’s not a good way to make your money in the National Football League.”
A.J. Brown
Mosher: “The touchdown pass to A.J. Brown and even the clinching pass to A.J. Brown were not the greatest throws. That’s the amazingness of A.J. Brown.”
Caplan: “He is an amazing football player. He’s another player of where they would be without him?
Special Teams
Mosher: “Special teams has been really bad this year. I don’t know if there’s one particular culprit, Myles Garrett is a freak athlete and he blocks the kick, but they really have to clean that up because if they’re going to play this many close game, and it seems like every single Eagles game are a one possession game, then you can’t have these miscues on special teams.”
Caplan: “(Cooper) DeJean was very good on punt returns…but the big one is another gaff, getting a field goal blocked. They have a long way to go.”
