Corner’s Back
Avonte Maddox Set to Return
The final injury report for the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of their Week 17 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals signals the return of several key players.
Cornerback Avonte Maddox (pectoral), left guard Landon Dickerson (thumb), and Nicholas Morrow (abdomen) do not have any game-day injury designation. Dickerson and Maddox practiced fully the entire week while Morrow participated on a limited basis.
A roster move will have to be made within the next 24 hours to add Maddox, who has been on injured reserve since Week 3, back onto the 53-man roster.
Linebacker Zach Cunningham (knee) is listed as questionable following a week of limited practices while Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay (knee) is the only player who has been official ruled out as he is set to miss his third straight game.
There is also a new addition to the injury report: tight end Albert Okwuegbunam, who has been a healthy scratch in 11 out of 15 games, was limited in Friday’s practice and is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, the opposing Arizona Cardinals will be without starting wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) as well as defensive linemen Leki Fotu (hand) and Jonathan Ledbetter (knee).
Quarterback Kyler Murray, who has played in just six games coming off an ACL tear in the previous season, returned to practice on Friday for the first time all week following an illness. While he is listed as questionable, he is expected to play.
