Jurgens Limited In Practice; Tyron Smith Held Out
Thursday’s injury report for the Philadelphia Eagles brought more of the same ahead of an important Week 9 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
There was no change in practice status for Grant Calcaterra (hamstring), Bradley Roby (shoulder), and Boston Scott (personal), who were all listed as not participating.

Ahead of their matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, four-time All-Pro Dallas Cowboys LT Tyron Smith has missed two days of practice due to a neck injury
With Roby still not hitting the field in his third week of injury, the Eagles may have to prepare for another game of Eli Ricks and Sydney Brown in the slot against a Cowboys offense that is reliant on the middle of the field with CeeDee Lamb.
In his first real day of practice since being placed on injured reserve, Cam Jurgens was listed as limited. The Eagles would have to create a roster spot to bring him back into the fold.
Jurgens’ replacement Sua Opeta, who briefly left the win over Washington, practiced fully after being listed as limited.
The Cowboys, after resting several veterans on Wednesday, have a relatively clean bill of health with a notable exception. The only player not participating was four-time All Pro left tackle Tyron Smith, who missed the previous game and the last two practices due to a neck injury.
Chuma Edoga, who previously filled in for Smith, has been limited in practice due to an ankle and knee injury. It is now a situation to monitor for the Eagles who may have more of the upperhand in the trench battles if neither can go.
