Evans Setback
Four Ruled Out Ahead of Bills Game
The final injury report for the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of their Week 12 matchup against the Buffalo Bills rules out four players.
Tight ends Grant Calcaterra (ankle) and Dallas Goedert (forearm), safety Justin Evans (knee), and Milton Williams (concussion) will be absent Sunday after missing the entire week of practice. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith (knee) was listed as a non-participant for Friday’s practice after being limited earlier in the week, but carries no game-day status designation.
The Eagles will be down two tight ends with Calcaterra’s injury. The team may roll with more 10 personnel and frequent practice squad member Noah Togiai may receive the callup after rejoining the Eagles earlier in the week.
Justin Evans’ return appears to have hit a setback. After having his 21-day practice window open following the team’s return from the bye, Evans missed the entire week of Bills prep after being limited in the previous week.
With the quick turnaround from Monday to Sunday, Williams’ status is no surprise after exiting Week 11 against the Chiefs early. Rookie Moro Ojomo may see the field for more snaps.
Wide receivers A.J. Brown (thigh) and Julio Jones (knee) as well as running back D’Andre Swift (knee) are ready to go following returning to practice fully after being limited in previous days.
