‘Exuding Confidence’
ITB: Jalen Hurts Has Command of Tempo Offense
The 12-2 Philadelphia Eagles are looking to stay healthy and keep their momentum going during their 10-game winning streak.
On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Geoff Mosher and Adam Caplan discussed the team’s injuries and tape takeaways from Week 15.

Saquon Barkley
Geoff Mosher: “If Barkley can’t play for whatever reason, Kenny Gainwell has done great, but you’re talking about maybe the MVP of the league if there is an issue here.”
Adam Caplan: “Barkley came back [against the Steelers], had a number of carries. We’ll see how they list him, it’s not a question of whether Barkley is playing this week, it’s just do they limit his snaps?”
Landon Dickerson
Caplan: “Sometimes when players get injured, you don’t see them on the sidelines, he was there in uniform but he just didn’t get cleared to come back.”
Mosher: “I thought that was very significant that you saw him on the sideline. If it was something really horrific, he’d be back in the locker room getting all of the X-Rays or getting more medical attention, no reason to panic just yet.”
Jalen Hurts
Mosher: “There are many times in the game they went no huddle, probably more times than usual, and I think this is one of Jalen Hurts’ biggest strengths: his IQ, football intelligence, his ability to understand situational football and orchestrate a no huddle offense and still protect the ball. That really jumped out to me offensively.”
Caplan: “His confidence was exuding. He was dealing it…the confidence, the tempo, and the willingness to throw. Now you’re hoping this most manifests more confidence.”
Defensive Line
Mosher: “The front four did a great job of, if they weren’t getting an elite jump off, they were at least closing the pocket. There were about three tipped balls at scrimmage. They were using their length, their athleticism, they were collapsing the pocket.”
