Decimated Dallas
ITB: Injury Report for Cowboys and Eagles Ahead of Week 10
The 6-2 Philadelphia Eagles will take on a 3-5 Dallas Cowboys team that is struggling with injuries on Sunday afternoon.
On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Adam Caplan and Geoff Mosher discussed the injury situation for both teams ahead of their matchup.
A.J. Brown
Adam Caplan: “The good thing is he took all of the starter reps on Thursday. Barring a setback, he’ll be in the lineup. We know that he has a knee injury, but thankfully the testing was good.”
Dallas Goedert
Caplan: “The reason why they didn’t put him on injured reserve is they thought he had a chance to come back within the four games. They were right. He took all of the ones on Thursday. As long as he doesn’t come in on Friday and is very sore, he is playing, he just has to get through practice.”
Darius Slay
Caplan: “He took all of the ones on Thursday. Right now, he is trending towards playing.”
Geoff Mosher: “The defense would be at full strength if Darius Slay plays. That means all [defensive] starters are good to go.”
CeeDee Lamb
Caplan: “He has a sprained shoulder and is limited. It’s flexibility and whether he has to wear a harness. More often than not, these guys play with these things.”
Mosher: “When you are a contested catch guy or a high point guy like he can be and you have limited range of motion, that can be difficult.”
Jonathan Mingo
Caplan: “The Panthers were trying to move him, the staff got down on him. He looks like an ‘X’ receiver, but doesn’t play like one. He needed a change of scenery and Dallas is hoping that they can bring him along and see what he can do.”
Micah Parsons
Caplan: “They think he is going to play, but he has not taken all of the reps coming back from the high ankle [sprain]. When you have a true high ankle which Micah has, these things don’t recover easily.”
