Brown Spotted At Practice
Pro Bowl WR Participated In Some Form
PHILADELPHIA – The Eagles, in their final practice of the week Friday, took the field at 12:30 p.m. Staying consistent with Thursday’s theme, all 53 players were present.
And although only the first 10 minutes or so were open to media, the presumption is that all are participating in some capacity as the team prepared for Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Md.
In light of popping up on Thursday’s injury report with a knee injury, and Nick Sirianni’s guarded responses Friday, all eyes were on Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown.

GETTY IMAGES: Eagles WR A.J. Brown was at practice Friday, putting him in line to play vs. Commanders despite a knee issue.
But Brown, kneeling at his usual spot in the stretch line, wasn’t hard to spot. While the final injury report, released later this afternoon, will reveal more, that Brown was on the practice field with a helmet should be viewed as a positive.
Two others to keep an eye on ahead of the final status report will be left guard Landon Dickerson (knee/rest) and S Sydney Brown (concussion), each of whom were listed as limited on Thursday.
Only LB Ben VanSumeren passed through concussion protocol within a week, so odds would appear to be against Brown’s availability for Sunday, though not impossible.
An underrated injury to watch is the neck injury plaguing wide receiver Britian Covey.
Covey has consistently appeared on the injury report the past two weeks with a neck injury and, despite being deemed a full participant in each practice last week, was promptly ruled out last Friday.
