Same as the First
ITB: Goedert Out, Evans Limited, Roby Full Participant in Practice
Friday’s injury report for the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of their Monday Night Football matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs brings more of the same.
Tight end Dallas Goedert remains the only Eagle to miss practice with a broken forearm while safety Justin Evans (knee), who is still on the team’s injured reserve, list was again limited.
It remains to be seen whether Goedert will be placed on injured reserve before Monday or if the Eagles want to see if he can return in fewer than four games. The team currently has an open roster spot and putting Goedert on IR would give room for both Evans and Cam Jurgens to be added back to the 53.
All other players participated fully in practice, including those listed on the report: tight end Grant Calcaterra (concussion), Bradley Roby (shoulder), and Jurgens (foot).
If Evans is able to progress his way into practicing fully and then playing, the return of him Roby would provide strength to a struggling Eagles secondary.
The return of Calcaterra will also be needed to provide depth with Goedert out for the foreseeable future, joining a tight end room that only has Jack Stoll and Albert Okwuegbunam.
