Report: Eagles Hiring QBs Coach Doug Nussmeier
The Philadelphia Eagles are making an expected hire to coach Jalen Hurts in 2024
Per ESPN, Doug Nussmeier will become the team’s new quarterbacks coach.

The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly hiring Doug Nussmeier as their new quarterbacks coach.
Adam Caplan had previously reported on “Inside The Birds” that Nussmeier would be the likely hire.
Nussmeier has been at the hip of new Eagles’ OC Kellen Moore since both joined the Dallas Cowboys staff in 2018. Nussmeier was the team’s tight ends coach from 2018-19 before being moved to QBs coach in 2020, Moore’s second year as the Dallas OC.
Since then, Nussmeier has followed Moore wherever he has gone, going to the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023.
The coaching veteran Nussmeier replaces Alex Tanney after just one season as the Eagles look for more experience in their staff overhaul on both sides of the ball.
