Return Of Reed?

S Blankenship Spotted At Practice

by

PHILADELPHIA – The Eagles, amid a misty rain, went outdoors for their first practice of the week Wednessday ahead of a Week 15 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Returning to the practice field and present in the stretch line during the portion open to media were S Reed Blankenship (concussion), S Sydney Brown (knee) and WR Britain Covey (neck), all of whom missed Sunday’s game against the Panthers.

Getting Blankenship back in time to welcome Pittsburgh would give the Eagles’ defense a huge lift, as Blankenship has quietly emerged as a leader and is an instrumental piece to the communication on the back end.

Offensive linemen Landon Dickerson and Mekhi Becton were spotted off to the side observing practice, along with cornerback Darius Slay.

We’ll learn more when the initial practice report is released but Wednesdays are common rest days for veteran, such as those aforementioned.

Not seen was All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson during my pre-practice attendance check. He could also be resting.
