ITB: How the Depth Chart is Looking on Offense

by

With the 2025 NFL Draft behind them, the Philadelphia Eagles can begin to fill out how the backup positions of the roster will look.

On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Geoff Mosher and Adam Caplan reviewed the team’s post-draft depth chart on the offensive side of the ball.

Kyle McCord

Quarterback

Geoff Mosher: “For the moment, the Eagles have four quarterbacks. (Tanner) McKee is now your number two unless he falls on his face in camp. Now it becomes a battle between Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Kyle McCord the draft pick, two completely different kinds of quarterbacks.”

Adam Caplan: “With another new playcaller, you have to see how everyone fits in.”

Tight End

Mosher: “They saw the tight end class a little differently. They felt the top two were really good. They did like Mason Taylor, but he went very high in the second round. After that, they just weren’t as hot to trade up.”

Caplan: “To me, it’s fluid in how they are going to handle this [Dallas Goedert] situation. There’s no one out there in the free market that they can get that’s better than him.”

Offensive Tackle

Caplan: “(Myles) Hinton can play right or left tackle. He’s way more advanced than Cameron Williams. Really smart guy, the issue with him is he has passive hands, not aggressive…Hinton has a real shot to be the long-term swing tackle.”

Center

Mosher: “Drew Kendall, if he’s a good player, has a good chance to make the 53 because I don’t think the Eagles want Landon Dickerson sliding over and having to play that center spot anymore.”

Caplan: “If it doesn’t work out with Kendall, they’ll sign a veteran. But Kendall’s got a shot. With Cam Jurgens coming back from back surgery, you would think in OTAs Kendall will not only get work with the twos, he may get work with the ones.”
