‘Motivated to Move’
ITB: Eagles Could Trade Starting TE Goedert
Free agency has arrived and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles have major decisions to make on key players.
On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Adam Caplan and Geoff Mosher provided updates on players that could depart the team in the coming weeks.

Kenny Gainwell
Adam Caplan: “Gainwell is a guy that the Eagles have a very high opinion of. If he’s willing to be reasonable with the money, I think there’s a realistic chance he returns.”
Dallas Goedert
Caplan: “Other teams have told us that the Eagles seem motivated to move Dallas Goedert. We expect him to be moved. Goedert just turned 30 in January, everybody knows he has had bad luck with injuries. We expect him to find interest.”
Geoff Mosher: “This is a good tight end draft. There are probably some guys they can sign.”
Milton Williams
Caplan: “Milton Williams is going to get a big deal. That has what we felt for months now. If you look at the unrestricted free agents [at defensive tackle], it’s Williams and a lot of older players. The Eagles could also see who gets cut. It is a buyer’s market.”
Mosher: “The Eagles have prepared for this. They have Moro Ojomo to play the 4i and 3 technique alongside Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter…They also brought in guys like Byron Young and Gabe Hall. They are guaranteed to sign at least one veteran.”
Josh Sweat
Caplan: “It would be stunning if he’s back. He’s another guy that changed agents and works with Drew (Rosenhaus). It feels like Sweat has a deal out there.”
