Hunt, a former Steelers pro scouting coordinator who joined the Eagles two years ago in May, 2022, has served as the team’s director of scouting – not to be confused with the team’s director of college scouting (Phil Bhaya), senior director of college scouting (Anthony Patch) or director of pro scouting (Max Gruden).
Hunt has interviewed for multiple general manager openings throughout his career, with the Raiders and Steelers. He came to Philadelphia after the Steelers filled their GM vacancy with Omar Khan, another in-house candidate.
The Patriots are looking for a permanent top personnel chief in the post-Bill Belichick era. Their personnel staff has been presided over by director of scouting Eliot Wolf since the team and Belichick parted ways.
Also in the mix for a front office role is Samir Suleiman, who earlier this offseason provided salary cap intel in an exclusive for ITB Patreon members.

Zay Visits Dallas
Former Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones is reportedly visiting the Cowboys, according to ESPN.
The Cowboys are looking to add some explosion after doing very little this offseason in free agency and losing more than they gained.
Jones, a 2017 second-round pick by the Bills, had the most productive season of his career in 2022, catching 82 passes for 823 yards and five touchdowns in his sixth season.
Last year, the East Carolina product and Dallas native caught just 34 passes for 321 yards and two touchdowns.
Miller to Pittsburgh
New Steelers coordinator Arthur Smith continues to make his mark on the look of the team’s revamped offense.
Pittsburgh is reportedly signing wide receiver Scotty Miller, per ESPN.

Miller becomes the fourth skill position player to join the former Falcons head coach after spending the previous season in Atlanta, following in the footsteps of Cordarrelle Patterson, Van Jefferson, and MyCole Pruitt.
With a limited role, the 26-year-old tallied 11 receptions for 161 yards and two touchdowns in 2023.
Most notably, Miller was a dependable receiver for Tom Brady during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 2020 Super Bowl season, recording 501 yards and three TDs.
