History Repeats?
Chiefs, Birds Popular Super Bowl Picks
The 2023 NFL season kicks off Thursday night when the Detroit Lions are in Arrowhead Stadium to square off against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
The rest of Week 1 will play out Sunday and Monday, with the Philadelphia Eagles at Gillette Stadium on Sunday for a 4:25 p.m. kickoff against the New England Patriots.
NFC East rivals Dallas and New York play the first Sunday night game while the Bills and Jets, AFC East rivals, will play the first Monday night game of the season.
The Eagles and Chiefs are both favorites to win their respective conferences, which if happens would be the first time since 1994 that the NFL featured a repeat Super Bowl from the prior season.
Almost 30 years ago, the Bills and Cowboys met in back-to-back Super Bowls, with Dallas winning both.
Here are the 2023 Inside The Birds NFL predictions from Adam Caplan, Geoff Mosher and Andrew DiCecco:
