Christmas Clash
Birds-Big Blue Staged For Holiday Battle
The Eagles and Giants are hoping to provide their fans with a little extra gift on Christmas this year.
The NFC East rivals will play on Monday, Dec. 25, at the Linc, making it the first Christmas game for the Eagles since 2017, their year they won their first Super Bowl.
Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., with FOX handling the TV broadcast.

The full NFL schedule will be announced Thursday night but the league also put out their first “Black Friday” game on Amazon Prime, featuring AFC rivals, the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets on the day after Thanksgiving.

Also, the league said the Bengals will visit Arrowhead Stadium to face the Chiefs on New Year’s Eve for a 4:25 p.m. kickoff, televised on CBS.
The Eagles scored a 19-10 win over the Oakland Raiders on Christmas of 2017, also at the Linc, as they improved to 13-2.
Last year, the Eagles secured three wins over the Giants, sweeping the regular-season series by a combined score of 70-38 before hammering New York in the NFC Divisional round, 38-7, en route to winning the conference before losing the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.
The Giants are coming off a busy offseason in which they signed quarterback Daniel Jones to an extension worth over $40 million annually, put the franchise tag on Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley (which he isn’t thrilled about), traded for Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller, and used a first-round pick on cornerback Deonte Banks.
The Eagles made quarterback Jalen Hurts the NFL’s highest-paid player (briefly), hired a new defensive coordinator to replace Jonathan Gannon, and rebuilt their depleted safety, linebacker and running back positions through free agency and the draft.
