Offseason Program Announced
Birds Have NFL's Most Unique Offseason Slate
The 2023 offseason program for the Eagles begins April 24, a few days before the NFL Draft.
The NFL on Friday announced the offseason program for each team. The Eagles start camp later than almost every NFL team and end camp before nearly every NFL team does.
The team’s first Organized Team Activity is slated for May 30, followed by June 1-2, June 5-6 and finishing June 8.
In the past, coach Nick Sirianni has agreed with Eagles players on a modified OTA schedule that had the team finish its OTAs earlier than the league’s schedule for them.
The Eagles are the NFL’s only team starting later than April 17. Teams with first-year head coaches are starting the week of April 9, as the league allows them to have an earlier start.
The Eagles and Bengals are the only NFL teams not holding a mandatory mincamp.
The Eagles, Browns and Dolphins are the only teams finished with their offseason program by June 8, but the Browns and Dolphins have mandatory minicamps.
