Steelers Eye New QB?
NFL Roundup: Pittsburgh Parts Ways With Trubisky, Sight Set On Fields?
The Pittsburgh Steelers are beginning their offseason overhaul.
Among the three players released by the team was quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, who started two games for the Steelers in 2023.

The Steelers have major questions at the QB position. 2022 first round pick Kenny Pickett started 12 games before a high ankle sprain took him out of the lineup.
He was replaced by Mason Rudolph, who impressed enough to take the starting job in the team’s playoff game.
However, neither looked like a long term answer. ESPN’s Adam Schefter appeared on the Pat McAfee Show and listed some names that could be of intrigue to the organization.

Also released was Pressley Harvin, the team’s punter for the last three seasons as well as Chukwuma Okorafor, the team’s starting right tackle for the past three seasons until being replaced by 2023 first-round pick halfway through the season.
Rocker Reappears
Former Eagles defensive line coach Tracy Rocker resurfaced with the Titans in the same role.
The team announced its entire staff Tuesday, listing Rocker as defensive line coach.

Rocker, who spent the past three seasons with the Eagles, wasn’t part of new Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio’s plans, as Fangio hired former Seahawks defensive coordinator Clint Hurtt to coach the Eagles’ defensive line.
Hurtt coached under Fangio in Chicago, when Fangio was defensive coordinator under head coach Matt Nagy.
Rocker returns to his NFL roots, as his first NFL job was coaching the Titans’ defensive line from 2011-2013. He then made three college stops before landing with Nick Sirianni in Philadelphia.
Aiyuk Flying The Coop?
Just days after losing the Super Bowl, 49ers wideout Brandon Aiyuk sounded like someone who could be on the move.
Aiyuk, a 2020 first-round pick, still has at least one more year left on his rookie deal but social media posts from his and people in his circle have suggested he could be on the move.

Speaking to reporters Tuesday, the 2023 All Pro was asked if he hopes to remain in San Francisco.
“If that’s the right move,” he answered cryptically.
Aiyuk comes off his best season, with 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns on 75 receptions for the NFC champions.
