Rambo, a second-year pro, joined the Eagles rookie minicamp after playing one season in the XFL and spending the 2022 training camp with the Carolina Panthers after going undrafted.
The move adds a familiar target for Jalen Hurts. In his lone season with Oklahoma in 2019, where he finished as the runner-up in the vote for the Heisman Trophy, Rambo was the number two receiver, finishing with 743 yards and five touchdowns.
After three seasons with Oklahoma, Rambo transferred to the University of Miami in 2021, where had a true breakout season with 1,172 yards and seven TDs.
To make room for Rambo on the roster, Philadelphia released offensive tackle Jarrid Williams, who has been on and off the practice squad since joining the team as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
