The Philadelphia Eagles remain the NFC’s lone undefeated team despite nagging injuries to key players.
On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Adam Caplan and Geoff Mosher provided the latest intel on the Eagles’ injuries.

Nakobe Dean
Adam Caplan: “You just hope there’s no setback. If not, he’s going to play. As we told you in August, there is zero chance he’s a starter if (Jihaad) Campbell is playing well.”
Geoff Mosher: “I do think maybe, and this is a longshot, if Jalyx Hunt is not producing as a pass rusher, if you want to move Campbell a little bit more and do put Nakobe in if you feel like he’s in shape, then maybe I can see that a little bit.”
Charley Hughlett
Mosher: “He has a core muscle issue. That’s a tricky one because we have seen in the past guys come back too soon from it and then re-injure it.”
Caplan: “Typically you’re back within six weeks, but not everyone’s the same.”
Lane Johnson
Caplan: “With stingers, you typically get it massaged out, but he hasn’t completely gotten rid of it. There’s no way to know if this is going to go week-to-week with him,, he doesn’t even know. It just has to leave his system, but he’s still there.”
Mosher: “You can play through it, but then you also run the risk of reaggravating it constantly and it becomes a little bit of a cat and mouse game with the treatment there.”
Jalen Carter
Caplan: “You saw him hold his shoulder. We talked about this in our initial reporting with Carter when they drafted him. The one issue that they had other than off the field was a shoulder issue. We don’t know if it’s the same shoulder, we’re looking into it, but the bottom line is we saw that he was in pain. This could be recurring all season.”
Mosher: “It’s very weird. He looks, at times, you would think he’s in a very severe amount of pain, but it just seems like Carter’s really fighting through it.”
