Safety Squeeze
Friday Injury Report Lists Two Out
The final injury report for the Philadelphia Eagles before their Week 4 matchup against the Washington Commanders offers slight hope for their dire injury situation at safety.
While Sydney Brown (Hamstring) has been ruled out, Justin Evans (Neck) practiced in full and is listed as questionable.
With Brown out, Evans in question, and only two safeties currently on the 53-man roster listed as healthy, Tristin McCollum may receive the practice squad callup along with punter Braden Mann.
While wide receiver Quez Watkins (Hamstring) has returned to practice in a limited fashion, he is still listed as out. WR DeVonta Smith was also limited in practice after missing Thursday due to illness, but carries no game injury designation.
Fletcher Cox (Knee), Britain Covey (Hamstring), Zach Cunningham (Ribs), Cam Jurgens (Groin), and Boston Scott (Concussion) are all good to go.
The Commanders will enter with a relatively clean bill of health, missing only RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. due to an illness. TE Logan Thomas has cleared the concussion protocol and is good to go for Sunday.
