Slay’s Days Off
Darius Slay Absent Two Consecutive Days
Thursday’s injury report for the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of the Sunday night showdown against the Dallas Cowboys is one of the team’s lightest in a while.
Wide receiver Julio Jones (groin) and cornerback Darius Slay (rest/knee) are listed as not participating for the second day in a row.
Slay’s missed practice may raise eyebrows with now two consecutive days of absences, but it does not seem to be more than typical veteran maintenance, according to ITB’s Geoff Mosher.
No practice today for #Eagles WR Julio Jones (groin), CB Slay (rest/knee).
Limited: LB Zach Cunningham (hammy).
Full: TE Dallas Goedert (forearm), TE Grant Calcaterra (ankle), TE Jack Stoll (knee), DT Fletcher Cox (groin).
It's common for vets to not to practice when indoors.

Linebacker Zach Cunningham (hamstring) remains limited as he progresses his way to rejoining a core that now includes All-Pro LB Shaquille Leonard.
Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (groin) and tight end Jack Stoll (knee) have been upgraded from limited to practicing in full along with tight ends Dallas Goedert (forearm) and Grant Calcaterra (ankle).
