ITB: Training Camp Competition Continues
The recent Philadelphia Eagles’ training camp practices are providing a clearer picture on competitions for playing time.
On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Adam Caplan, Geoff Mosher, and Andrew DiCecco provided intel from the shorts and shells practice.

Adoree Jackson
Andrew DiCecco: “That’s three out of four [practices getting more first team reps]. You’ll learn more when the pads come on, but Adoree Jackson has surrendered fewer big plays than Kelee Ringo. There was this sentiment that Jackson didn’t have a lot left, but based on what we have seen, that would be the contrary. He conducts himself like a veteran.”
Mac McWilliams
DiCecco: “He’s feisty, he’s competitive, he plays a little bit bigger than his size would indicate, he had a nice breakup in the red zone against 6’6 Johnny Wilson. He has really good instincts. It has been a solid showing for him through four practices…he also got some looks in dime packages.”
Adam Caplan: “He’s stronger than you think, built well for his size.”
Jordan Davis
Mosher: “In four-man fronts, we saw Jordan Davis next to Moro Ojomo in a three technique, pass rusher role that coaches have said that he’s anticipating more of. On a few pass rushes, I felt he continued to get high and lose his leverage.”
Tyler Steen
Mosher: “It feels like this is the one that the competition is not really a competition as long as Tyler Steen stays healthy.”
Caplan: “He looks much better, technique is better.”
