ITB: The Numbers Game for the Eagles' 53-Man Roster in the Super Bowl
Major roster decisions await the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of their Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs.
On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Adam Caplan and Geoff Mosher discussed potential moves to make on the week of Super Bowl LIX.

Practice Squad Elevations
Adam Caplan: “Nic Morrow is almost a lock [to be elevated] because right now, your only inside linebackers are (Zack) Baun, (Oren) Burks, and Trott [Jeremiah Trotter Jr.]. The other one to me is fascinating because if you don’t do [Khari] Blasingame, is it game specific or it it just for insurance?”
53-Man Roster
Geoff Mosher: “Obviously (C.J.) Uzomah and Brandon Graham are the two guys that if they become active, they are going to use these guys. The residue of that is that means you have to say goodbye to two guys on your 53-man. One name I would think really jumps out would be Parris Campbell, especially if you’re activating another tight end and going to use 12 personnel.”
Caplan: “If you’re going to activate Uzomah off I.R., why do you need four tight ends? E.J. Jenkins would be the next guy, I would think.”
Brandon Graham
Caplan: “The odds are that he’s going to be activated. It’s not a done deal, but everything that he has talked about and explained it and that we looked into, it’s not what we thought at the beginning…To think that he’s just nine weeks in now and he is really going to be able to do everything he was doing before, the game he got hurt in was one of his best games in years.”
Mosher: “The beauty of the injury for Brandon is he normally lines up over the right tackle, which means his healthy right arm is the inside arm, left arm is the outside arm. So he uses the healthy arm more.”
Britain Covey
Caplan: “I would be very surprised [if he’s activated]. It has been so long, he has not been cleared for contact with the neck nerve issue.”
