Eagles Part of First Ever Monday Night Flex
The Philadelphia Eagles will make history in Week 15.
Philadelphia’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, initially scheduled for December 17 at 4:25 p.m., has been flexed to Monday night, December 18. It is the first time that a game has been flexed to Monday night, an allowable policy as of the 2023 season.
This replaces the previously scheduled matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and 2-9 New England Patriots.
In its place is a matchup between the number one team in the NFC with the Birds at 10-1 and a 6-5 Seattle Seahawks that is a frontrunner for one of the wild card spots.
The Eagles are now at six primetime games for the 2023 regular season. It will be back-to-back weeks for the team, with a Sunday night matchup on deck in Week 14 against the NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys.
