by

The defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles, a team surely to be among the NFL leaders in primetime games, will soon know their official schedule.

The league will release the entire schedule for the 2023 season on Thursday, May 11 at 8 p.m. during a special schedule release shows on NFL Network and NFL+, and will be posted to the official NFL.com website.

The Eagles’ 2023 schedule includes an NFC title game rematch against the San Francisco 49ers

Among the new changes in schedule operation includes the addition of a Black Friday game as well as less limits on primetime scheduling, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

While the Eagles already know their entire slate of opponents, Thursday will determine when and which network each game will be played.

The Birds’ schedule is loaded with intriguing matchups that will be in high demand for viewership.

In addition to their six NFC East rivalry games, Philadelphia will take on the entire stacked AFC East division. The team’s 12-0 all-time record against the New York Jets could be tested with future Hall-of-Famer Aaron Rodgers now at QB.

Also on the dock is a pair of playoff rematches: a home game against the NFC runner-up San Francisco 49ers as well as a visit to Kansas City to avenge their Super Bowl loss against the Chiefs.
