Street Signing
Eagles Give One Year Deal to Defensive Tackle Kentavius Street
Low cost and high upside has been the theme for the Philadelphia Eagles’ free agency moves, and that continues with the latest addition to their roster.
The team announced the signing of defensive tackle Kentavius Street to a one-year deal on Thursday afternoon.

Street spent 2022 with the New Orleans Saints. Despite not making a start, he was a key rotational piece on the defensive line, playing 46% of the team’s defensive snaps and recording a career-high 3.5 sacks. Street has 6.5 total sacks over the last two seasons.
The 26-year-old Street was selected in the fourth round of the 2018 draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
After missing all of his rookie year and most of his sophomore year in 2019, Street started to see more snaps in 2020 and ’21 before signing with New Orleans on a one-year deal in 2022.
With the exit of Pro Bowler Javon Hargrave, the Eagles had a clear need for a defensive tackle to join Jordan Davis and the returning but aging Fletcher Cox,
While Hargrave’s 11 sacks remain unlikely to be fully replaced, Philadelphia is hoping that Street and third-year Milton Williams can help fill some of the void.
