If Goedert’s Gone
ITB: TE Free Agents
A long-time Philadelphia Eagles starter on the offensive side of the ball is set to hit the open market.
On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Geoff Mosher and Adam Caplan discussed the state of Dallas Goedert and the tight end free agency class.

Dallas Goedert
Geoff Mosher: “Whether or not you bring back Dallas Goedert, you still need to address this position…The future of this position needs to be addressed. If he definitely doesn’t come back, then free agency is a must.”
Cade Otton
Mosher: “There’s a lot of follow-the-coaching movement. Cade Otton is a free agent and his offensive coordinator last year was Josh Grizzard, who’s now pass game coordinator for the Eagles. If you want to get guys who know the offense and you’re trying to filter it down to the rest of your team, that would be someone who makes sense.”
Adam Caplan: “He’s not a great athlete, but a physical guy, a little bit of run after catch. He’s quality, that’s a name to watch.”
David Njoku
Caplan: “If I’m the Eagles, I’m all over this guy. He’s a guy who had to grow up a little bit, but is a terrific player. Just the competitiveness, incredible blocker, athletic move after the catch.”
Mosher: “I wonder about Njoku because he’s now going to become the number one tight end with (Kyle) Pitts on the franchise tag. You imagine he’ll be the top tight end target [around the league].”
Tyler Higbee
Mosher: “Fun fact: he and Sean Mannion were teammates in 2018 on the Rams.”
