The Philadelphia Eagles’ overhaul on offense continues with Jeff Stoutland’s replacement officially hired.

On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Geoff Mosher and Adam Caplan gave intel on the new offensive line coach and discussed the current state of the offense.

Chris Kuper

Geoff Mosher: “I was trying to get more info on him and was talking to a personnel guy for an AFC team, and he said he was a pretty good player. This guy played a long time, played under Mike Shanahan. There’s that symmetry again.”

Adam Caplan: “During his time [with the Vikings], they drafted five linemen…Ed Ingram never really developed for them and that was Kuper’s first year. You just don’t see a lot of players developing. The positives are obvious, Christian Darrisaw was drafted the year before he got there.”

Aaron Moorehead

Caplan: “I don’t know who (Sean) Mannion knows or doesn’t know in terms of receivers coaches that are out there. We are really late here.”

Mosher: “That’s a big thing, how late we are into the offseason.”

Caplan: “I have had my criticisms, but Darius Cooper is a really good find. I remember watching Moorehead really coaching Johnny Wilson hard.”

Jemal Singleton

Mosher: “I think Singleton is a good coach. For the most part, running backs have come to the Eagles and done well in parts of the game where they may have not done well before.”

A.J. Brown

Mosher: “He’s coming toward the later years of his contract where the numbers go up and that’s usually a time when the Eagles will say let’s get an extension to lower the cap number. But you’re not going to give A.J. Brown who has, A. been unhappy, and B. not producing 1,400 yard seasons. Even though you’d take a big cap hit, you can still get value in return for trading him now.”
