Jurgen Return?

Cam Jurgens Returns to Practice; Roby Remains Out

by

The Philadelphia Eagles need all hands on deck for a Sunday night showdown against the rival Dallas Cowboys.

Wednesday’s estimated injury report, the first ahead of Week 9, shows only three players tight end Grant Calcaterra (concussion), cornerback Bradley Roby (shoulder), and running back Boston Scott (personal).

Roby, if unable to return to action on Sunday, would remain the team’s biggest absence especially going against a Cowboys team with CeeDee Lamb in the slot.

The limited players were headlined by starting right guard Cam Jurgens (ankle), whose 21-day practice window was opened on Wednesday morning. While the Eagles previously had an open roster spot, it was used to sign Julio Jones from the practice squad to the active roster.

Also limited was Jordan Davis (hamstring), Jack Stoll (ankle), and Milton Williams (shoulder), as well as Jurgens’ replacement Sua Opeta (hip), who exited Week 8 briefly.

Jalen Carter (back) practiced fully after receiving an MRI on his back, which limited him to just 17 snaps against the Commanders.
