Adam Caplan: “The word we heard is he was going to try to practice by Friday, he did work on Thursday. You can’t take chances with skill position players and hamstring injuries, you don’t want these to linger…You have to see the next day how it responds.”

Darius Slay

Caplan: “Concussion. This is a short week so it’s not looking good, but I have been surprised this year. We have seen a decent amount of players come back after seven days, but I wouldn’t count on it.”

Geoff Mosher: “On Friday, if he does get out there, it would have to be a limited one because you have to have a limited outdoor practice first before you take the next step in the protocol. Even if he’s out there on Friday, that’s just part of the process. It would be a step in the right direction.”

Roquan Smith

Caplan: “The word I have word is that he is trending towards playing, but they won’t know until after Friday’s practice. They go with the committee if he doesn’t play, they have gone with a couple of days.”

Mosher: “The thing that really impresses me about Lamar is his ball distribution now. Zay Flowers is clearly their number one receiver leading them in yards, but their touchdown leader is Mark Andrews who actually has less of a role this year than he has had in past years. Rashod Bateman almost wanted out a couple of years ago, he is now second in receiving yards and touchdowns. Lamar has done a really good job keeping the defenses honest by spreading the ball around.”

Caplan: “He throws a beautiful deep ball, he’s one of the most dangerous runners in NFL history.”
