‘First Guy Off the Bench?’
ITB: O-Line Depth Chart
While the starting offensive line for the 2026 Philadelphia Eagles is set, new o-line coach Chris Kuper is tasked with the development of key backups.
On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Geoff Mosher and Adam Caplan discussed the current state of the line.

Tyler Steen
Geoff Mosher: “Tyler Steen does enter year four without a contract extension. Is there anybody that the Eagles brought in who, if they have a really good camp, you can see them pushing Steen into an end of camp trade?”
Adam Caplan: “No. If Micah Morris shocks the world, but on the surface there should not be any competition. The question is really who’s the first guy off the bench?”
Drew Kendall
Caplan: “They already know what he is as a center, they feel pretty good about it. If they work him [at guard] in training camp and he holds his own, maybe they’ll hold off on that veteran guard.”
Mosher: “If you’re Chris Kuper and you have to come up with a second-string offensive line for the first week of OTAs, are you playing Willie Lampkin at center so you can give Drew Kendall some right guard second team reps to see if he can cross train and handle it?”
Markel Bell
Caplan: “The o-line coaches that we talk to around the league all said the same thing: he’s not a left tackle at this level based on body type. He’s not a good enough athlete. But he’s competitive as hell, really cares, tough-minded kid.”
Cameron Williams
Caplan: “We’ll learn over the next weeks and months where Cam Williams is in his development.”
Mosher: “You felt that if this kid was going to have a shot in the NFL, because he already has the traits and the size, it was getting somebody to get through to him. That you felt confident with Jeff Stoutland in. Can Chris Kuper come in and motivate Williams to build off that foundation the way you know Stoutland would have done?”
Myles Hinton
Mosher: “He had some rough reps in the preseason game where you could tell he still needed to work on that strength and nastiness you expect from an offensive lineman in camp.”
