Sirianni Names Kevin Patullo As New OC

The Eagles on Wednesday promoted offensive assistant coach Kevin Patulllo to fill the offensive coordinator post that opened when Kellen Moore left to become Saints head coach.

The promotion of Patullo, who coached alongside Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni in Indianapolis and came to the Eagles with Sirianni in 2021, just finished his fourth season with the club.

Patullo initially served as the pass game coordinator before adding the title “associate head coach” before the 2024 season, illustrating Sirianni’s reliance on, and trust in, Patullo.

The 2025 season will be Patullo’s first as a play caller, and Patullo will be the fifth different offensive coordinator for Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who enters his his sixth season.

As reported recently on the Inside The Birds, Patullo was the most logical choice given his experience working with Hurts. Also, Patullo is expected to the run the offense similarly to Moore, keeping many of the same concepts that helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl.

Per NFL Network, the Eagles will reportedly bring in former Dolphins offensive assistant Parks Frazier, who has also coached with Sirianni and Patullo in Indianapolis.

Before joining the Dolphins, Frazier was with the Colts from 2018 to 2022, first serving as assistant to head coach Frank Reich before moving to offensive quality control coach and assistant QBS coach before being named interim offensive coordinator in 2022 after the team fired Reich.

Frazier then went to Carolina in 2023 to be the passing game coordinator when the Panthers hired Reich as head coach.
