Sources: Procedure For Huff
Birds EDGE To Miss Time
Eagles EDGE Bryce Huff, a big free-agent signing whose first season in Philadelphia has been dogged by injuries and production decline. will undergo a procedure on his wrist injury Thursday, league sources told InsideTheBirds.com’s Andrew DiCecco.
Huff, who has been playing with a cast on for the past two weeks and who’s seen his snaps drops dramatically, is expected to return for the stretch run of the season.
#Eagles’ Bryce Huff will undergo a procedure Thursday on his wrist, according to a league source.
My understanding here is that having played through the injury the past two weeks with a cast, the procedure affords Huff the best opportunity to return for the stretch run late in…

The Eagles will go with an edge rotation of Josh Sweat, Nolan Smith, Brandon Graham, and rookie Jalyx Hunt against the Rams in Los Angeles on Sunday night in Week 12 at SoFi Stadium and moving forward until Huff returns.
Huff, the former Jets pass rusher who agreed to a three-year contract with the Eagles worth more than $5o million, has just 2 1/2 sacks with the Eagles – tied for fifth on the defense with Graham – and just four hurries while playing just 37% of defensive snaps. Last year, Huff played 40% of the Jets’ snaps and finished with 10 sacks, 10 tackles for a loss and 21 quarterback hits.
This season, the Eagles rank 10th in the NFL in sacks per pass attempt after a slow start to the season.
