On offense, the team finally announced new quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier, who coached tight ends and quarterbacks in Dallas when Moore was Cowboys offensive coordinator and followed Moore to the Chargers last year to coach quarterbacks while Moore served as offensive coordinator.

Moore also brought along Kyle Valero as an offensive assistant. Valero spent 10 seasons in Dallas working alongside Moore. He coached tight ends was a quality control coach.

The only other offensive coaching changes involve in-house assistants, with 10-year Eagles coach T.J. Paganetti moving to run game specialist/assistant offensive line coach – replacing former assistant OL coach Roy Istvan, who took the same post in Cleveland –  after last year serving as run game specialist/assistant tight ends coach.

On defense, the Eagles announced the additions of new defensive line coach Clintt Hurt (who replaces the departed Tracy Rocker) along with defensive backs coach Christian Parker, safeties coach Joe Kasper and cornerbacks coach Roy Anderson. All four have worked in past places with Fangio.

Bobby King was also confirmed as the team’s new linebackers coach. Ronell Williams, who coached nickelbacks last season, moved to assistant linebackers coach/defensive quality control. Tyler Scudder moves from assistant linebackers coach to defensive quality control, and Tyler Yelk moves to head coach quality control from assistant to the head coach.
