Carter Returns to Eagles' Practice
PHILADELPHIA – In light of the weather, the Eagles held their first practice of the week inside, as they began preparation for Sunday’s meeting with the Buffalo Bills. The Eagles welcomed back defensive tackle Jalen Carter, who was sidelined for the past three games after undergoing a procedure on his shoulders. As for right tackle Lane Johnson (foot), the veteran wasn’t present during the media observation period. Will be something to monitor as the week progresses.

Present but not participating were left guard Landon Dickerson (reason unknown at this time) and linebacker Nakobe Dean (hamstring). Dean was sporting a sleeve on his left leg. When asked on Wednesday about Dean’s health status, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said the following:
“He’s doing better than I think they thought he would. He’s iffy for this week.”
As for Dickerson, the team last Wednesday gave him a calf/rest designation, so perhaps it’s part of the maintenance plan.
In other related news, tight end/fullback Cameron Latu was practicing after missing Saturday’s game with a stinger. It’s worth noting that Latu was listed as a full participant in the final practice of the week last Thursday and entered Saturday’s game against the Commanders as questionable.
The official injury report will be out later today.
