‘He’s Back’
ITB: Takeaways from First Eagles and Browns Joint Practice
The Philadelphia Eagles are using the second week of preseason to get an extended look at how their players fare against different systems.
On the latest episode of “Inside The Birds,” Adam Caplan and Geoff Mosher provided intel from the first joint practice between the Eagles and Cleveland Browns.

Johnny Wilson
Adam Caplan: “This was another good Johnny Wilson practice. The word I have been given is ‘urgency’ with this guy. I give Aaron Moorehead credit, whatever he is doing with him is reaching the kid.”
Geoff Mosher: “I would think there is a positive influence that Aaron Moorehead can have on Wilson because Moroehead himself was a taller receiver in the NFL. He played some slot with the Colts, which is where they’re also lining up Johnny Wilson.”
AJ Dillon
Caplan: “No one is ever going to confuse AJ Dillon with Barkley’s jump cut, but this is the second practice I have watched Dillon have an amazing jump cut. I didn’t even know he had one. He looks good, he’s back.”
Mosher: “Like we have said all along, it will not be a question of talent with Dillon, it’ll be a question of health and so far so good.”
Gabe Hall
Caplan: “Gabe Hall returned…He is so long. You can’t teach size. He’s starting to develop, this is a good job here by Clint Hurtt.”
Kelee Ringo
Caplan: “Ringo was picked on, he gave up his share of plays…It’s hard for Ringo to start and stop.”
