Lane Johnson Again Absent From Birds Final Practice For Buffalo

by

PHILADELPHIA – The Eagles held their final practice of the week ahead of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.

Though they didn’t practice on Christmas, the team released an estimated injury report, which was reflective of Wednesday’s update. The report listed WR A.J. Brown (teeth), LB Nakobe Dean (hamstring), G Landon Dickerson (illness) and T Lane Johnson (foot) as non-participants.

On Friday, during the media observation period, Brown and Dickerson were spotted in the stretch line, participating in some capacity. Dean was present, but taking in practice as a spectator, as he has all week. There was no sign of Johnson, so he can be expected to be ruled out for Sunday.

Spotted on a far field with a trainer, donning a team-issued No. 13 sweatshirt, was OLB Azeez Ojulari, who was placed on injured reserve on Nov. 1 with a hamstring injury.

As for the Bills, head coach Sean McDermott has ruled out DT Jordan Phillips (ankle), K Matt Prater (right quad) and S Jordan Poyer (hamstring) for Sunday’s game. QB Josh Allen (foot) was listed as a limited participant Wednesday and Thursday, but seemingly trending in a positive direction.

Keep an eye on the Bills’ tight end situation, as both Dalton Kincaid (knee) and Dawson Knox (knee) were listed as non-participants on Wednesday and Thursday.

Look for the final injury report, and official game statuses, later this afternoon.
